Quick Answers
- Do you take my insurance? We accept all PPO dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna, MetLife, Aetna, and Guardian.
- Do you take Medicaid or Medicare? No. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. Some Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits through a PPO network; check your plan.
- What if I do not have insurance? Our prices are published, and financing is available through Cherry, Proceed, CareCredit, and SunBit.
We Accept All PPO Plans
That includes plans many of our patients bring in from employers around Johnson County, including the offices at Aspiria:
Delta Dental PPO
Cigna PPO
MetLife PPO
Aetna PPO
Guardian PPO
UnitedHealthcare PPO
And More
A PPO (preferred provider organization) plan lets you choose your own dentist. An HMO or DMO plan works differently and assigns you to a network. We accept PPO plans only, not HMO or DMO plans.

What Your Benefits Usually Cover
Every plan is different, so we never promise what your plan will pay. As a general pattern, PPO dental plans cover preventive care like exams, cleanings, and x-rays at a higher rate than major treatment like crowns or implants. Benefits vary by plan, and some treatments have waiting periods or yearly maximums.
Bring your insurance card to your first visit. After you fill out your new-patient forms, we call your insurance company and verify your benefits for you, so you know what to expect before treatment starts.

We Do Not Accept Medicaid or Medicare
We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. Original Medicare (Parts A and B) does not cover dental implants or most dental work. Some Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans include limited dental benefits through a PPO network; if yours does, call us at 913-346-3600 and we will help you sort out whether your plan applies here.
When Insurance Is Not Enough
Insurance rarely covers everything, especially for bigger treatment. Two things fill the gap:
- Published prices. Our service prices are on the site, so you can see costs before you commit. See our Service Prices page, or Dental Implant Cost for implant-specific numbers.
- Financing. We offer plans through Cherry, Proceed, CareCredit, and SunBit. Learn more on our Paying for Dental Implants page.
