Nitrous Oxide
“Laughing gas” has been used in dentistry for over 100 years. Patients breathe the gas through their nose, stay awake, anxiety is relieved, and the dental procedure is accomplished. Best of all, the recovery is immediate!
Oral Sedation
Anti-anxiety drugs are short-acting and provide a comfortable dental experience. During your procedure, you are awake and feel in control, but your anxiety will be deeply relieved. Very often, oral sedation is combined with nitrous oxide.
IV Sedation
IV sedation puts you to sleep during your dental procedure. While this is not an option for a routine cleaning, this is a great choice for a comprehensive and complex dental procedure. You will need someone to drive you from the office.

Definitely the right decision to go to this office, we had checked 4 other dental offices that do this type of procedure and they were the most professional and the most informative to what should be done correctly to have the procedure done successfully. Because of jaw bone problems that I had since birth, Dr Mancin was able to do the best job at fixing the situation, not promise to do something that could lead to problems down the road by doing things that others would have done just to charge more money for something you asked to be done that would of lead to problems later.
His staff is professional and very knowledgeable, you can tell that they care about the patient and making sure to address any concern or questions you may have before or after your procedure. It is always a relief that after you have something done like this that you made the right decision to go with this office. I research Dr’s before I'm to have any type of surgery to make sure for the best outcome when you hear of people who have had not a good outcome.
One last comment about his reviews from other people, you can not give a office a negative or poor review because you couldn’t get financed, that’s not their responsibility, and doesn’t reflect on their ability to preform the dental work.

I had an emergency dental need first thing this morning and I called OP Implant Dental in Overland Park and they were able to get me in a.s.a.p. Not only was I able to get in right away but I couldn't have found a better place to go. I have always had a fear of the dentist and all those tools! Dr. Mancin and his assistant Grace made me feel so comfortable and safe. Dr. Mancin spoke so calmly and was clearly extremely knowledgeable and confident with his plans for me dental needs. I was able to get through the procedure with only a numbing agent. Dr. Mancin and Grace talked me through the whole thing and I got through it with ease. I was amazed!! I still have more work to be done and so I spoke with Sunnee (office manager) and she is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the insurance that I have. She explained things to me so thoroughly and even printed out a plan with my insurance involved. She made me feel so much more relaxed about the whole insurance/payment part to come. Like I said, it must've been my lucky day because I couldn't have found a better place!!!! I am so thankful!!!!

Oral sedation is not offered at OP Implant Dental. Nitrous oxide and IV sedation are performed in office. Nitrous oxide is typically $150-$250. Sedation dentistry is around $3,000 to $4,000 depending on your treatment. At your free consultation or second opinion, our team will review the most affordable and effective sedation for your dental anxiety.
Absolutely! OP Implant Dental offers flexible financing to those that qualify.
Nitrous oxide will allow you to work immediately after your appointment. However, oral and IV sedation require a friend or family member to bring you to and from the appointment. We recommend taking the work day off.
